OWP/P,
celebrating its 44th year, is located in Chicago and Phoenix.
The fully integrated firm serves clients throughout the country
in education, corporate, healthcare, civic and mixed-use developments
with the professional services of a 350-member staff providing
architecture, interior design, engineering, planning, consulting
and design/build services. In December 1998, OWP/P was honored
as the Firm of the Year by AIA Chicago and received the first
Distinguished Firm Award from the AIA Illinois Chapter in 1995.
Team members for OWP/P include Trung Le, Steve Salzer and Andrew
Gilles. Trung Le, AIA, is a principal and the design representative
for the firm's education group. In 2001, he led a firm-sponsored
trip to Vienna for a group of architects, interior designers
and engineers to study that city's innovative school building
program. Currently, he is designing an elementary school for
Chicago Public Schools.
Steve Salzer, who joined OWP/P in 2000 with Bachelor's and Master's
degrees from the University of Kansas, is working on a new Antioch
High School in Lake County, Illinois. Andrew Gilles, who joined
OWP/P in 2001 after receiving a Bachelor's of Architecture degree,
also from the University of Kansas, has been working with Le
on the design of a new high school for Rochelle, Illinois.
