Porch Welcome

Welcome to Chicago's Porch and Deck Guidelines and Standards Booklet. This application gives you the ability to select from four different porch designs, depending on the type of building you live in, to accompany your porch permit application, at no additional charge.

To help you select the right porch design, this application will ask you several questions about your building. After answering all the questions, your eligibility will be determined and, if this program is applicable to your building's configuration, you will be directed to one of four standardized porch designs.
