CFL - Smart Bulb Program
 
 Program Overview  
 The City of Chicago has partnered with the Northern Illinois Energy Project (NIEP) and Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance to promote the use of Compact Flourescent (CFL) Bulbs throughout the Chicago.
 
 
 The CFL Advantage  
 There are many advantages to using CFL bulbs in your home. Since CFL bulbs only use one-third of the electricity that incandescent bulbs do, replacing just a few bulbs means significant savings on your monthly electricity bill.
