Where Can I Get a Rain Barrel?

Thank you for your interest in conserving water and managing stormwater.

The City of Chicago will not be hosting any more Environmental Resource Events this year due to limited funds and staff. In order to continue to distribute subsidized rain barrels and compost bins to City residents we have partnered with Chicago Conservation Corps (C3) Leaders in hosting community-based distribution events in neighborhoods across the City. C3 Leaders are volunteers committed to improving the quality of life in their communities through environmental service projects, for more information about C3 please visit www.chicagoconservationcorps.org. There will be a handful of community events yet this summer.
