Program Overview

smart bulb

The City of Chicago has partnered with the Northern Illinois Energy Project (NIEP) and Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance to promote the use of Compact Flourescent (CFL) Bulbs throughout the Chicago. Free CFL bulbs will be given away at Aldermanic Offices this spring. Stop by and pick up a CFL while supplies last. The use of ENERGY STARŪ qualified CFL bulb saves money, uses less energy and helps protect the environment.
