Chicago Dept. of Public Health Mental Health Clinic Pilot Project

MODV is working closely with the Domestic Violence Mental Health Policy Initiative on a pilot project involving three of the Chicago Department of Public Health's (CDPH) Mental Health Clinics. Working in partnership with select domestic violence service providers, the centers will provide mental health assessment and treatment to victims of domestic violence. They will also provide some limited mental health services for the children of some of the victims. The model is focused on the creation of trauma informed services within both partners' sites. This pilot will be evaluated with the goal of expansion to all of the City's Mental Health Clinics.
