Retail Chicago Program

Description:
The Retail Chicago program is an aggressive outreach program for retailers, brokers and developers to introduce them to the many community retail development opportunities in Chicago and expedite their entry into these new markets by sering as a "One Stop Shop" to assist them during their site selection process. From an implementation standpoint, this program coordinates the City's participation in the development process and strengthens and stablizes existing neighborhood retail centers. Retail Chicago offers a broad range of services to support and assist in retail development. Services include:

• A single point of access for inquiries about neighborhood retail development opportunities
• Customized market information on specific development opportunities and communities
• A strategic plan to coordinate these initiatives with developer and neighborhood needs

Program Objective:
Encourage and implement neighborhood commercial development that meerts the needs of businesses and area residents.

Qualifications and Restrictions:
Retail Chicago resources are available to developers, retailers, brokers, local development corporations and other public or private entities interested in retail opportunities in Chicago.
