You have 30 days from the date of this notice to abate the hazardous conditions at the property. If the Commissioner
determines after 30 days run that the building has not been repaired demolished or all accessible windows, doors and any
other openings boarded and secured and kept secured, and if all garbage, debris and other hazardous, noxious, or unhealthy
material are not removed from in and around the building , a Notice of Determination will be sent to the owner (s) of record
informing them that the conditions have not been abated and that the City Of Chicago will take action to eliminate the
hazard. THIS ACTION COULD INCLUDE DEMOLISHING THE BUILDING. You are further notified that should the City be required
to take the necessary action to eliminate the hazards caused by these buildings, the owner (s) of record shall be liable for
all costs incurred by City. You have the right to object to the City taking this action by filing
legal action in a court of competent jurisdiction including filing a complaint in the municipal division of the circuit court
of Cook County challenging the City's determination that the building is vacant, open and hazardous. If you decide to file a
legal action, you must serve a copy of your complaint or objection on the Clerk of the City of Chicago, Room 107, City Hall,
121 N. LaSalle St., Chicago, Illinois 60602 AND, Mayor Richard M. Daley, Room 507, City Hall 121 N. LaSalle St.,
Chicago, Illinois 60602 AND Director of Fast Track Demolition, 120 N. Racine Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60607. Once you
have served the City of Chicago with a copy of your objection the City cannot demolish the building or take any action to
eliminate the hazard posed by your building without a court order. If you have any questions about this procedure, contact a
lawyer. This legal notice is published pursuant to the requirements of Illinois Compiled Statutes,
65ILCS 5/11-31-31-(e) and Chapter 13-9 of the Chicago Municipal Code.
