The City of Chicago, through the Department of Community Development's Preserving Communities Together ("PCT") program notifies all interested parties that the property located at 5232 S. Wolcott Ave., Chicago, IL 60609 is available for conveyance. The selected developer will be required to submit at closing a $5,000 acquisition fee plus the City's cost of holding property prior to conveyance (est. 4 months at $800/month) and a $1,000 performance deposit. The Performance Deposit is held by the Department of Housing, pending the successful completion of the project. In addition, the selected developer will be required to enter into a Redevelopment Agreement with the City detailing the terms and timeline for the rehabilitation of the property. The City reserves its right to final approval of the applicant pending City Council approval. All interested applicants must submit a Preserving Communities Together application.
