Web site serves as a one-stop shop for the city's TIF documents
The Department of Community Development (DCD) today announced the launch of a consolidated tax increment financing (TIF) section on its website, offering enhanced online access to information on each of the City’s 160 TIF districts.
“We recognize the need to be able to quickly access TIF information on our website,” Acting DCD Commissioner Chris Raguso said. “We have combined information that was previously available from a number of sources and made it readily attainable and easier to find.”
The streamlined format provides greater access and serves as a central point of information and documents pertaining to the program, including an overview of each TIF district and projects within the district.
The updates are meant to help users identify and gain a clearer understanding of the industrial, commercial and residential developments that are being financed with TIF assistance and to make government transactions more transparent.
The following new features can now be accessed via the Internet.
An overview of each TIF District includes:
Profile and Map
Redevelopment Plan
Designation Ordinance
Annual Report
Project information includes:
Redevelopment Agreement
Economic Disclosure Statement
Community Development Staff Report
Certificate of completion
