An Overview of the Standard Plan Review Program

The Standard Plan Review Program is designed for small to mid-sized construction or renovation projects requiring drawings. The design phase must be completed before the permit process can begin.

Single Point of Contact

The permit system centers around a Project Manager, a professional who helps you throughout the process. This professional meets with you initially, coordinates with internal plan reviewers and keeps you fully informed at every step along the way, giving you greater control over the process. Your Project Manager is also accountable for making sure your permit application is processed in a reasonable timeframe.

Eligible Projects

  • Buildings up to 80 feet high
  • Institutional or mercantile properties under 100,000 square feet
  • Residential properties of up to 12 units
  • Foundations no deeper than 12 feet
